Home beer brewers and home winemakers can now be part of the robotic revolution. The new valve 24V 990-53 is a low cost fully programmable, normally closed on/off valve, controlled by a microprocessor based controller. The controller also has an amplifier with on board relays for direct interface with stepper or DC motors without having to add external relays.

The general filters valve 24v 990-53 is an optimal replacement for converting an unregulated non continuous pressure system into a regulated, non explosive system.

Lightweight, compact, and easy to carry. This 24VDC valve is designed for one-hand operation. Unique tip retracts into the top for safety during transportation. Features superior pressure holding capacity. All filters have a long service life. Grease resistance is excellent.

The 990-53 Valve is used with our TAP24 Series Regulator. It connects directly to the drain valve of your propane cylinder or gas grill tank, and before your low pressure regulator. It is recommended that you check the flow rate on this valve against another standard flow 24V valve before installation. The flow rate on this series of valves is 0.67 CFM @ 80 PSI with 1/8" NPT male threads.

The Valves are highly visible, easily metering, and meet NSF standards.

The 990-53 Valve features a brass body, stainless steel 304 balls and a threaded end cap. The end cap will seal the valve against the tank wall allowing the gas to flow from the tank into your compressor.
